To celebrate the official 40th anniversary book on the world’s greatest rock band, we borrowed the band’s memorabilia, which Brian May treasures, and put on a one night exhibit at The Groucho Club.
Three rooms were filled with never been seen before Freddie Mercury handwritten lyrics, the iconic skull guitar, Freddie’s jump suits, awards, rare posters, The News of the World robot and many more sentimental items. Brian May was the star of the night and the house was full with over 200 press across all media. Queen’s manager of 40 years, Jim Beach, said it was the best Queen exhibit he had ever seen. The event and the book went global within a few hours.
