To celebrate the 40th anniversary of one of the world’s best loved pop groups, Carlton published an official book filled with previously unseen, removable items of memorabilia belonging to the band members. The book was authored by Ingmarie Halling (curator of The Abba Museum in Stockholm) and included forewords from each of the band members.
Ettinger PR launched Abba’s book to the world. We secured ITV to run an exclusive interview with Bjorn about the book and took them on a trip to Stockholm to interview the author and film in The Abba Museum on the 40th anniversary.
Daily Telegraph ran the exclusive national newspaper coverage, featuring an interview with Bjorn and the book featured in leading entertainment and music magazines including Heat, Hello!, Mojo. It had to be reprinted within a few weeks.
“When I read the manuscript for the book you are now holding in your hand, it strikes me how much joy and love have gone into making this story, through Ingmarie’s pen (computer)… In 2014, ABBA will celebrate 40 years – but in this book, I’ll be swirling back to a time of youthful crazy dizziness – with love, music, togetherness, hard work and a fantastic success.” – Frida, ABBA
